Counselor In Training (CIT) Applications are Open!
Our Counselor In Training (CIT) applications are now open for the 2025 season! Each summer we look forward to welcoming a small handful of energetic high school leaders who want to serve a week of their summer during our Discovery and Junior Camps. As CIT’s, these role models partner with full time summer staff to help lead our youngest campers through their week at Sonlight – engaging in options, assisting with small group discussions, bringing enthusiasm to campfire, and much more. While this opportunity provides potential future summer staff to learn about what it takes to make camp happen, it also allows for our elementary aged campers to experience more (emerging) young adults living out their faiths in diverse ways.
Whether you’ve been coming to Sonlight since 3rd grade or just found us recently, we would love to have you consider applying as a CIT if you are entering 10th grade or beyond. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about how to be a servant leader, create connections, and contribute to a community that extends beyond your experience at high school camp.
