“[We’re] so glad to live in a world where there are Octobers”

L.M. Montgomery

The leaves are changing, the temperature is dropping, and the weekends around here are a bit busier – all signs pointing to fall! We are halfway through our fall retreat season having hosted ladies from Summit Church, Pagosa Christian Women’s Group, and River Church, a DUST2 bike practice as well as the Durango High School Choir and some CDT thru-hikers! Between groups we’re working on fall maintenance, summer planning and a bit of biking around camp. Needless to say, we keep ourselves busy around here but wouldn’t have it any other way. Staff are looking forward to reconnecting with old friends, and meeting new ones, as we welcome more retreat groups in the coming weeks. Snow in the high country has us hopeful for a wet winter to come, but for now we will continue enjoying our (still!) green meadow.
