The Diocese of Victoria Youth
For 30+ years youth from the Diocese of Victoria, TX have held their summer Rocky Mountain High retreat at Sonlight Camp. A long tradition of friendship and ministry. We’re deep in to the second generation of kids attending this retreat. This year was exceptional as always, and it was a real treat to have Bishop Brendan Cahill join the group. Wendy Eggert designs an excellent retreat and the Diocese is lucky to have her as youth director. Father Phillip was with the group again this year, and we love Bobby staffing the retreat – his 26th year to spend a week of his summer at Sonlight. Exploring the traditions of their Catholic faith, celebrating mass on Kelsey’s Wild Place, messy games with Sonlight staff — it’s a great week all around.
