Early August – and we are enjoying every bit of Junior Camp. It’s a first time Sonlight camp week for every camper except one, and we’re so happy to have them here. Their joy and laughter is so good. When I asked one of the counselors what their favorite part of Junior Camp was, he replied that hearing the kids pray is the best. Their sincerity and innocence in coming to God. A special thanks to Katie O- our speaker. How good to have youth speaking into the lives of the kids!
Summer is wrapping up- we close out Junior Camp today. End of the summer staff banquet is tomorrow, and some staff will be heading back to school. Our Womens backpack trip group arrives on Tuesday to hit he trail Wednesday. Grandcamp comes in on Thursday- our final camp of the season.
