“The first major winter storm of the season is moving toward the Colorado mountains. Precipitation will initially affect the San Juan Mountains on Friday. The brunt of the storm arrives early Saturday morning. A period of moderate to heavy snowfall is likely on Saturday for all mountain zones near and west of the Continental Divide. Lighter snowfall intensities and much colder temperatures follow into Sunday.”
