Happy 4th of July!
We are hosting the Diocese of Victoria group this week, always a nice week of our summer. This is the 27th(?) year they have held their confirmation week at Sonlight, and the shared history is rich. Bobby K, Kevin, Joe and Julia, Wendy, Mike and Linda and Father Dan. Committed adults, giving so much to pour into these kids.
Some staff are enjoying a bit of off time, taking turns with duties to serve the Texas group. Ashley, TJ and Nick are out with X2- backpacking the South San Juans the first part of the week, and then rock climbing in Penitente Canyon and a raft trip the last part of the week.
Staff are gearing up for Sonlight’s Adventure 2 camp next week, as well as the High School backpack trip.
