Think of all the moments of love in your day. The moment you wake up and smile at the love and warmth your bed has provided you. The love your coffee gives your body as you take the first sip. The love that warms your heart as you glance at the photos on your wall of the ones who have impacted your life in unremarkable ways as you are getting dressed and running out the door. The love the stranger gives you when they compliment you on your style or even your accomplishments. The love you feel for yourself when you do a job well done. The love you share as your laugh radiates and your smile brightens the day of others. The love you give to the world by just being you. But most of all, the love our Father rains on you day in and day out.
Whether you realize it or not, love is all around. It is in you, it runs through you and it is given to you freely, each and everyday. Don’t forget to share it.
“If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do no have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
