Junior Camp and Wilderness Week for Girls finished strong this week. Sonlight Summer #32 in the history books. We’ll round out our summer with Rocky Mountain Friends of Florida College, the Father/Son backpack trip and the the Austin Seminary “Wilderness And Spirituality” backpack trip. A full summer!
The staff closing included customizing our own mugs with “Journeys” on them, and leaving our legacy with footprints on the bus. Thanks Winston for a wonderful supper, Brett for an inspiring closing, and Gaines for many laughs with the staff highlight DVD. Summer 2011 to be remembered. Today we say “until next time” to some of the staff. A core of us will stay to finish out the summer.
