So many volunteers! Sonlight wouldn’t be Sonlight without each one of them, and saying a big enough ‘thanks’ is hard. Our 2014 summer volunteers (excluding speakers – wait for that in a different post!)
Charlie Mozisek: A volunteer for most summers for 19 years, Charlie’s impact is all over Sonlight. For 3 weeks he joined us in June, and as always built new things, fixed what was broken and freely gave to staff.
Rydell Stottlemeyer: Giving a week of her time behind the scenes- so appreciated since our behind the scenes staff was so thin Adventure Camp in June.
Rachel Livrett: Camp RN’s are always appreciated, and Rachel even more so because she “gets” all things camp.
Jan Cardelli: Two full weeks she was here. Her time with the flowers, store organization and dish finesse are much appreciated.
Veronica Higgins: A 2013 Service Crew gal, she jumped right in and made significant impact in all things behind the scenes. Organized and hard working, how we appreciated her!
Lindsey Higgins: Joining us for Junior Camp, A joy to have Lindsey at Sonlight for a bit this summer.
Mark Roberts: Three full weeks he gave, lending a hand with all things behind the scenes, as well as maintenance tasks.
Kelsey McLean: Not only a speaker, but stayed to support program and lend a hand with tasks all over camp.
Kent Stottlemeyer: A camper Dad, he got a new perspective on Sonlight, and what goes on behind the scenes. Thanks Kent!
Carol Pierce: A regular volunteer for many summers, Carol’s RN skills are the best. Staff celebrate when she comes, because joy and willing spirit are infectious.
Matt and Sarah Charles: With little Sydney along they were a great addition to camp for a few days. So glad they made the time to come and be onsite Doctor and PA for part of a week.
Leah Wesselman: A speaker with Kelsey, and also arrived early and stayed a few days after camp as well.
Mike Coltrin: So grateful every time Mike comes to help out. Cheerfully will do anything, and a bonus to have him on the hike to do some geocaching.
Caroline Schramm: Appreciate the willing hands and gentle spirit- we appreciate Caroline giving 10days of her time in July.
Allison Coss: So good to have Allison at camp, returning staff are the greatest.
Megan Kober: Looking forward to her being here in August!
Hannah Robertson: Looking forward to having Hannah here in August also.
