It’s the wintry weather we love. The peaks are white and the meadow has about 3 feet of snow blanketing the ground. Snow that falls now means great skiing on the pass, snowshoeing adventures at camp and green grass next summer. Last week Sonlight hosted the Pagosa Elementary School “100 Mile Club” for an afternoon of snowshoeing and snow play. For every mile the kids snowshoed they earned 2 running miles. Score!
