Banquet Night Theme
“Music can change the world because it can change people.”
This summer we are celebrating the power of music with our weekly banquet night theme: Jammin’ Jukebox! Through the gifts some of us are given to play instruments all the way to the background noise of the radio on car rides – music is all around us. It has the ability to encapsulate memories, produce emotions, and bring people together in a way unlike noneother. Recognizing the true fashion of music’s uniqueness, we invite you to use your creativity to come up with whatever suits your musical style best!
Dress as your favorite genre of music (country, rock, pop, indie, etc)
Dress like your favorite artist/musician/band
Dress as your favorite instrument
Dress as a Broadway show character
Disc Jockey (DJ)
Jukebox party – 1950’s style dress
Let your creativity run wild!

- Teams Course Challenges
Can my child come with an immediate family member or close family friend?
All children must be with a parent or guardian. If they are coming with a different family member or close friend, please contact our office for a Guardianship Form.
Do we still need health forms, physicals and immunizations?
We will have a modified healthy history form and liability release form that each family will complete. These will be sent out once reservations are made.
What is the cancellation policy if my family cannot make our date?
Families will be charged a $150 Cancellation Fee if they cancel their reservation for reasons other than a COVID incidence or known exposure which requires a family member to quarantine. If Sonlight has to cancel a session to comply with state or local health orders, a full refund will be given.
Can we bring devices or cell phones?
Any devices must be left in your car or cabin. We recommend leaving them at home and enjoying a chance to truly unplug. Sonlight does not have cell service on our property and our office relies on what little DSL we do have, so public wifi will not be available. You are welcome to share our landline number for emergencies.
Sonlight Landline: 970-264-4379
Can we bring our pet?
As much as we love dogs, cats and bearded dragons, we do have to keep our cabins as pet-free areas, for the health and safety of future guests. Pets need to stay home.
Will there be health screening?
Yes, upon arrival and before departure, you can expect to complete a basic questionnaire for everyone in your group and for everyone to have their temperature taken. If local health agencies require it, Sonlight may have to conduct additional screenings.

$399 person / $199 / person
Sonlight offers tiered pricing, so you may pay what is affordable for your family. We desire to be transparent in what it costs us to offer family camp. Families who choose to may pay the full fee. We offer a Subsidized Tier as a choice to provide a more affordable option. The lower rate is offet by fundraising efforts and donations. It does not nearly represent the true cost of camp operations.
Upon registering for family camp you may choose the Full Tuition, or the Subsidized rate. Should you need additional scholarship funds call Mary Marugg in the Sonlight office for conversation about your families needs. 970.264.4379.
Children 5 and under are free.
HOUSING / MEALS
Each family will have their own sleeping and restroom accommodations. We have 3 private cabins, and 2 independent dorm areas upstairs in the lodge. Whatever “family” you include in your family registration will be housed together.
Sonlight serves family style meals. Dietary restrictions will be met to the best of our ability if advance notice is given.
