Your 'To Do' list for a Sonlight Backpack TripPlanning For a Sonlight Backpack Trip
To organize your upcoming backpack trip:
Licensed by the State of Colorado as a youth camp, and permitted by the United States Forest Service, this includes what is required for those permits and licenses.
- Return the contract with $400 deposit to Sonlight Camp
- Bring a check for the balance of your trip with you ($375 x # of participants – $400 deposit)
- Return three forms for each camper and adult participant by May 15th (or a minimum of two weeks before your trip)
- a completed health form
- physical form
- acknowledgement of risk form for each participant (including adults) to Sonlight
- Provide a ‘what to bring’ list for each group member
- Contact Sonlight at least one week prior to your trip with a total number in your group (including adults)

Physical Exam Form
- To be completed by a Physician (MD), Physicians Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) (sorry, state regulation only allows those 3 medical providers). Based on a physical exam within 12 months of camp
