“Just being in the space of camp can be therapeutic”

John Hamilton

Director, Camp HOPE America

MESH: Mental, Emotional, Social Health

Summer camp is good for staff and campers, a place to be outside, make new friends, learn new skills and explore who God created you to be.

The world is hard on all of us right now, and we anticipate that campers (and staff) may bring the weariness of the world with them to camp this summer. The Sonlight leadership team is working to be best prepared to serve our campers and staff by creating a healthy environment.

We’re not experts, but we can provide tools for staff and campers to better navigate this world that we are living in.

  • Self-care

  • How to create a MESH (Mental, emotional and social health) culture

  • What to say when people share hard things

  • How to have a hope centered environment

Providing a camp experience that brings health, joy, strengthened faith and a sense of community is our priority. Join us this summer!
