Camp Staff

A job for the summer and skills for a lifetime!

Few summer jobs are as beneficial at working at camp. College students often look for a job or internship that will help move their career along. A camp job is impressive on a resume. Consider the solid experience and skills that you can take away from a summer at camp:

      • Camp staff learn to collaborate with other team members
      • Working with and appreciating people who may not be exactly like you
      • Camp staff have the opportunity for leadership, whether leading campers, younger staff or peers
      • Coordinating activities. Camps have many things going on at once, and is a great place to learn and practice organization skills
      • Seek creative solutions. Daily camp life offers challenges with people, weather, unanticipated circumstances and the complexities. Learn from seasoned staff how to think creatively as you problem solve
      • Learn to assess risk and respond to emergencies
      • Practice hospitality skills, learning to love and serve others
