Staff training is in full swing. Best 10 days ever, being with staff, getting the facility prepared for summer and building community. We’ve got a great staff, many returning for a 2nd or 3rd summer as well as some new staff. Some new to Sonlight for the first time, and some who are oh-so-familiar with Sonlight after being counselors. Countdown: 4 days ’till campers!

When asked their favorite place at camp, a camper replied “next to Henry.” Hometown: Los Alamos. He’ll complete his Masters in Physics at Texas Tech University in 2017, camp is a great respite from the world of academics. We’re so glad to have Henry at camp this summer!

Hometown: Houston. Little known fact: Aaron loves socks. And kids. He is passionate sharing his faith at camp through work / play and sports. So glad to have Aaron back for summer #2!
