“Camp is a magical place, a place where kids and staff have a sense of freedom, and can leave behind the labels of the world. Camp is a place to remember how to be child-like. A place to play and to be in the wonders of nature. Christ says we need to be like a child to enter the kingdom of God, and camp is a place to remember how to be a child.”
And Bryce joins the year round staff!
A camper since he was in middle school, and a summer staff member for 4 years, Bryce Baca steps in to the Program Director role at Sonlight. A 2017 graduate of Texas Christian University, Bryce is looking forward to giving back to the program which has shaped his faith and his life. Bryce and his new wife Natalie now call Sonlight home. A long time summer staff member, Natalie is a middle school teacher in Pagosa Springs.
