Fall: A New Season
We love the changing of seasons! September brings cooler temperatures, retreat groups and fall staff. We look back on another summer packed with kids, staff and memories. We look forward to the coming winter and pray for deep snow.
Our retreat season kicks off this coming weekend with women from the River Church in Durango, CO. The TRC Women’s Retreat is an annual event that we love to host. Great fellowship, speakers and of course great Sonlight food! Every weekend in to November is booked with a different retreat group: women’s, youth and men’s retreats. Some of these groups have been coming to Sonlight for 25+ years, and each weekend it feels like family coming home.
Fall typically is the time for staffing changes. This fall we welcome Bryce Baca, joining the year round Sonlight staff as Program Director. Megan Kober will be with us for the 2018/19 fall and winter season as retreat staff. Welcome Bryce and Megan!
