Continue in What You Have Learned

It’s on the sign as you walk towards the parking lot as you leave camp. All those cool things you felt at camp, the friends, the food and the things that touched your heart. So how to take it all home?

  1.  Write a letter to a camp friend. An old fashioned letter. Take a break from your screen, and all the online connection, and write a letter. It’ll make somebody’s day!
  2. What did you take away from the speaker this summer? Joel, Josh, Heidi, Mark, Tim, Chelsea, Stephen and Bryce all gave us some big pieces of wisdom to live by. Write down a big nugget that you remember.
  3. Get some fresh air! If your world of school and work has transitioned back to being mostly indoors find some time to get outside. Sun, rain, wind or whatever, it’ll make you feel alive and remind you of those summer days at camp.
  4. Listen to camp music. Those arrival playlists? Night game music? the drive thru dinner? It’ll bring back those memories.
  5. Remember what is good and true. We were made to simply follow our God and love others. Take a minute to listen to what God says about you and how He loves you.
