Annual Report
The numbers tell one part of the Sonlight Story. Easy enough to sum up: It takes a lot of people with passion to come together and serve kids. The Sonlight community is made strong by folks who are willing to contribute in many ways: working on summer staff, financial donors, volunteers, camp families who bring kids to camp, ‘In-Kind” donations of vehicles, equipment, office supplies and costumes- the list goes on and on. Each person who gives back to Sonlight is significant, and is a part of what makes our community vibrant.
In the financial realm, some donations are used now to improve camp. Other donations are set aside to allow for planned use in the next budget year and Endowment contributions are invested to Give Sonlight to the Next Generation. Action now, short term planning and long term vision are all the thoughtful process of the Sonlight Board of Directors as we carry out our mission of camp.
