Before snow flies in the fall we spend time on the trails, preparing for next summers hike season. Tuesday was Cherry Cairn day. Winston, Mary, Chelsea and Emrys logged 12+ miles and over 3,000 vertical feet to make a loop to the top of the peak, scouting out the best route for a day hike. Snow has settled on the north sides of the peaks, the saddles and exposed sides of the peak were windy and cold. A great day to be out, it’s always amazing to view the world from above, and a pleasure to get out of the office for a day.
