A week of laughter and friendships. We love high school camp! Our week has been traditional with some new twists. Our speaker is Todd Shulda, a long time favorite. He’s willing to be vulnerable, speaking truth to the kids and staff. Tuesday hike day we hiked Alberta Peak and Treasure Mountain, and there is always the lake hike as a laid back option. With river levels at an end-of-the-season low, we chose to go to the Pagosa hot springs today instead of rafting. The river was especially nice on a hot afternoon.

Behind the scenes staff has been focused on firewood, and today all 3 wood sheds are full. We’ve been cutting and splitting for a couple weeks. We still have some huge rounds from a big pine left to split, which will give us a nice bit of extra wood.

Thanks to volunteer Mike Coltrin, we always appreciate his willingness to spend a week with us.
