For 30+ years Sonlight has hosted youth from the Diocese of Victoria for a week in the summer for their “Rocky Mountain High” retreat. What a week! Our good friends Wendy and Bobby, Brian, Shannon and Father David returned this year along with some new faces on the leadership team. We love hosting this group, and it’s a nice chance for some of our staff to get a break from Sonlight programmed camps. This week is also the Sonlight high school backpack trip. They head out this afternoon to hike the trail from Elwood Pass back to Quartz Lake and the Mill Creek trailhead.
