Update on the Little Sand fire, a report Archuleta County Emergency Management, Tuesday evening:
“Overall the fire looked good today and the Red Flag Warning did not develop the expected winds. Visibility was fairly good all around the fire today, but tomorrow morning is likely to be smokey in low lying areas. Thunderstorms have developed to the east and are producing lightning.”
Sonlight does have a bit of smoke in the air this morning. The sunrise was beautiful. We pray for rain – spiritual rain for all those affected by the fires across the west, as well as drenching, wet rain for our parched land.
