Packing for Camp

Packing in a duffle or soft sided bag works well. Belongings will be kept in the duffle and stored under or next to the bed during camp.

Rocky Mountain weather is typically warm during the day and cool at night. Camp is a good place for durable, functional clothing. Layers work well for chilly evenings around the campfire, day hikes or cloudy days. Please follow the packing list, to include closed toed shoes (hiking / capture the flag), long pants and a long sleeve shirt. Be sure to mark each item clearly with your name or initials.

Many items are not suitable for camp. This is to avoid the risk of damage or loss or to avoid conflicts with the culture and goals of camp.

Please do not bring: Animals, fireworks, weapons, high-value items such as watches, jewelry, collections (cards, figurines, etc.), or other one-of-a-kind, hard to replace items.

Not for camp use: Any device that connects to the internet or cell service. Computers, cell phones, gaming devices, etc. While tech items may be brought with you for travel to and from camp, these items will be collected at the beginning of the session. They will be securely stored during camp and returned at the close of camp for travel home.
