TIPS FOR YOUR STAY

We have prepared a place for you at Sonlight

A space designed for you, we invite you to embrace what we have to offer

INFO FOR GUESTS

The Sonlight Leadership team looks forward to welcoming you to our retreat space. Sonlight is hosting your group, providing facility and foodservice. Your group leader is providing program, schedule details and all the leadership. Sonlight is primarily a youth camp, we invite you to embrace this space designed for youth.

Food Service

Sonlight Camp is able to provide for some food allergies and intolerances if advance notice is given. Many of our meals are served deconstructed, so you may choose your ingredients. Some meals are blended (lasagne) so advance notice of dietary allergies and intolerances will be necessary for our food service staff. Meals are served family style, as we enjoy sharing meals in community. Sonlight does provide snacks. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are always available. Read more

Lodging and Sleeping

We love that your group has chosen to hold the retreat in a space designed for youth, and invite you to embrace youth space. Sleeping is dorm style, there are no private accommodations. Some cabins have bunkbeds. All sleeping areas have their own restrooms. You provide your own sleeping bag or sheets/blankets. Pillows are provided. There are some outlets near beds for devices.

Cell Service and Wifi

Sonlight is remote, there is no cell service in the area. Wifi is at hand in the main Sonlight lodge if your group leader chooses to make it available to the group. (Wifi does not extend to all the cabins.) A landline is available should you need to make calls.

Activities on Site

On the Sonlight property you can discover several miles of trails suitable for hiking or mountain biking. The outdoor hot tubs are available 24 hours a day, bring a suimsuit! In the winter months snowshoes are available. In the fall there is disc golf, geocaching, hammocks and plenty out outdoor seating to enjoy a good book in the mountain air. Puzzles and games are available
