Summer: Part 1
And here we are in July, looking back on a great first part of the summer! We learned a few things, made new friends and have had so much fun with our families. Each family camp has it’s own special feel, the Sonlight staff love the different flavor of each week. Slingshot Alley is quite an addition to Sonlight, it’s not as easy as you think to hit the targets! PacMan is great fun, so much running! GaGa, Digglers on the trails, tye-dye, tea parties, archery and hikes fill our days. We’re in our third week of backpacking, and despite a couple of bumps it’s all going well. Our guides Amanda and Rebekah provide solid leadership. The groups have climbed peaks, explored trails, enjoyed the high country lakes and accomplished much as they travel through the wilderness. We’re looking forward Summer Part 2!
