The Sonlight team attended the ACA (American Camp Association) Rocky Mountain Fall Conference last week. We look forward to this conference every Fall for a few reasons. We love reconnecting with camp friends from all over Colorado and Wyoming, as well as meeting new people every year! It’s an incredibly supportive and friendly community, in that we all can come together and share our joys and our struggles, and help each other in what ever way we can.
We also love learning new things! The Fall Conference is full of sessions lead by extremely intelligent and thoughtful people. We walked away from the conference with new ideas, ways to make Sonlight better, and a fresh perspective on different areas of the camp world. Thank you to Sanborn Western Camps for hosting a wonderful conference once again.
Another big thank you to the Sonlight community for your continued support. With your feedback, we are able to move forward with ways to improve camp, as well as knowing what things should stay the same. We love hearing about the things you enjoy – like messy games, pizza lunch and campfire (and more).
Our evaluation winner for 2017 has been notified! We are excited to take what we’ve learned and continue to work to keep Sonlight’s program great.
