39 years, a whole lot of cookies and many great stories, it’s time to turn the director-ship over to new leadership. Emrys and Sara bring fresh ideas and energy. Being retired opens new doors for Winston and Mary to find ways for their volunteer hours for Sonlight Camp to be significant. Alumni Reconnections. Organizing all those boxes of photos. Connecting with the people that have made Sonlight great. The transition team has been together for over a year, and the time is at hand for Emrys and Sara to take over the role of Directors. They will continue their work with Chelsea and the other staff to continue program relevant to kids of all ages. The next 39 years is ahead of us, and we’re looking forward to the journey.
