High School 10Day! Such a time we are having. Being together for 10 days gives us time to settle in to our schedule, go deep with Heidi and add some new twists to our days. Yesterday we were up on Wolf Creek pass for a service day, cleaning up trash at the sledding area and up on Lobo Overlook. It’s not anybody’s job to clean up the forest, but it’s everybody’s job. It’s a great feeling to fill the gap and help return that beautiful place back to what it should look like.

Backpack season is strong, our guides Miles and Katy just finished up a trip with Jake and youth from First Presbyterian Church, Amarillo Texas. They hiked the Williams Lake trail, the wildflowers along the Knife’s Edge are in full glory.

Summer rains have arrived, and it’s a welcome relief to some of the dry heat we had in June.

Our memory bank is filling with amazing laughter, friendships and all the good things that summer camp brings.
