Author Sherry Turkle explores what is lost in an age of digital technology and digital connection. Camp is unique in our world, providing the space and a reason for conversation and connections. Through our formal evaluation system as well as in ongoing conversations with camp families it is reinforced over and over that the genuine friendships made at camp last a lifetime. Each week of camp brings together kids and staff from different cities, states, church’s, friend circles, interest groups and geographic regions. When we work and play together we build friendships on our common bonds. And these friendships last.

“I have made some of the best friends of my life at camp.”

Former camper / camp staff member
