Summer 2017! We start the summer strong with GrandCamp. Friends from Albuquerque, Nebraska, Phoenix, Los Alamos, Ignacio, Durango and others. Our time is short, but we’ve packed a lot in. Parachutes, geocaching, meadow games, great meals, our speaker Joel, campfires and more. It’s been a good time for intergenerational connection, good fun with new friends, and introducing some of the younger ones to the camp experience.
Backpack guides have already been on the trail for some guide training. Slowed up a bit by swollen rivers due to so much snow in the high country, but it’s going to be a good season.
