Back then the staff used the bathrooms up in one of the main buildings. I had taken my contacts out as I was getting ready for bed and realized I had left my glasses in my cabin. It was dark, but I thought, eh, there’s a light halfway down the path. I’ll be fine. Well, I opened the door to go out, and realized I could not see a thing. But I had no choice but to make my way down the path blind. I had to walk until I veered into the bushes and then adjust myself back onto the path. I also remembered that we had seen many bears around the last week or so, and I didn’t want to sneak up on one while completely bind, so I thought I’d better start clapping just to warn any bears I was coming. I really wish someone was watching, because it must have been hilarious!
