After sporadic rain showers yesterday, the sky is looking clear of any smoke and no plumes are visible in the distance over the mountains. Today camp is sunny and clear and our meadow is happy from the watering yesterday.

The West Fork Complex doubled its containment from 2% to 4% yesterday and the forecast shows rain showers over areas of the fire. The fire has grown up to 96,742 acres total. Though the rain yesterday didn’t fall directly on the fire it did help slow down fire growth as did the 30% humidity in the area. Firefighters predict that containment of the fire will increase.
