Hello Wichita, KS! A delight to spend the weekend with our friends from Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wichita. 1988 was the first year that a group of high school kids came to Sonlight with Warren Muller, the pastor at Covenant at the time. Their tradition has continued, and they bring a backpack trip each summer, as well as send a workgroup each May. They have accomplished some significant projects, as well as some great support for just getting ready for summer. Winston and Mary got to spend a day at the Sedgwick County zoo – with a special tour from Scott who was a Sonlight backpacker as a high school kid in the early 90’s. Thanks Scott!
