“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone,” Neal Donald Walsch once said.
Well isn’t that a little bit scary? Venturing into the unknown is frightening and unnerving at times. Not knowing what is going to happen or how things will work out if you take risk, is certainly not a walk in the park. But with great risk comes great reward. And if we “walk by faith” as 2 Corinthians 5:7 encourages us to do, I think we find a world of opportunity awaiting.
So if stepping out of your comfort zone is doing a silly little dance when your favorite song comes on the radio or perhaps going out of your way to befriend someone new or even trying something completely different you’ve never done before–do it. Our beloved Father is waiting to hold your hand and help you through new, exciting times in this wonderful world He created for us to enjoy.
Be bold. Have faith. Adventure awaits.
