And from the travel journal: Winston and Mary have admired the flat landscape of Kansas and had some great visits with friends along the way. Time with the Higgins family in Great Bend, KS. Anne was on staff back in the early days, and her daughter Veronica will be on staff this summer. We highly recommend the lemon cream cheese pie we shared with them at the Carriage Crossings Cafe in Yoder, KS. On to Wichita, we loved our weekend with Covenant Presbyterian Church friends. How good to share meals and fellowship with them.
On to Tulsa, our day was full with a tour of First Presbyterian Church, then an evening with dear friends Warren and Kathleen Muller, and Steve, Dan and Jackson: staff in youth ministries at First Presbyterian. We look forward to their youth staying at Sonlight for their ski trip in March.
