The 30-4-30 campaign is going strong. 141 donors have contributed $47,800+ so far this year. Funds are designated to the Scholarship fund, the "Bricks and Mortar" fund and the "Sustain Sonlight" fund.

Scholarships: As expected, we've had many requests for scholarships due to families stretched financially in this economy. Your generous donations have gone a long way.

Bricks and Mortar funds spent summer 2009:

• Scott's bridge rebuilt
• A new deck in front of the healthcare station
• A new, much brighter, projector for the Saturday slide shows and program
• New benches at the outdoor chapel
• Replaced outdoor speakers
• Added a bridge for vehicles to cross the seasonal creek
• Added a few new benches at the campfire circle
• Replaced two decks in the staff neighborhood
• 10 new adairondack chairs

Sustain Sonlight: 30% of the funds are in savings, building the 'Sustain Sonlight' fund to invest in the next 30 years.
