Listen.
Let me tell you something child, life is not going to go the way you imagined it. But that doesn’t mean you should forget your dreams or give up on hope or not plan for your future. Neither shall you expect great things to happen while you sit idly by. It means be attentive, be wise and listen.
Listen for the voice of our Father guiding you towards the great path he has carved for you. Listen and obey. And although life will not go the way you’ve imagined, it will be oh so much better, if you have ears to hear and eyes to see. There’s a funny saying that goes, “If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans.” He has special adventures in store for you. So go on, listen to your Father’s whispering ways and live in this world with all you’ve got.
