Ski Trips and Winter Retreats

Sonlight has had a lively winter season for 30+ years, hosting youth ski trips and winter retreats. An ideal spot- each group guaranteed exclusive use of the facility, we do the cooking and provide a sack lunch for the ski area. The meadow is buried in snow, we have snow shoes and all the hot chocolate you care to drink. Churches find a ski trip is great outreach – kids can bring friends that may not typically be at youth group. December / January / February is the time for light, deep powder at Wolf Creek. Spring break  is sunny with warmer temperatures on a deep base of snow. We love our winter groups and love to offer them the mountain ski lodge that Sonlight is!

Ever wonder about the names of sleeping areas in the lodge? Named for skiing!
